Leonard L. Dietz, 75, of Hawarden, died Monday, November 17, in a hospital in Hawarden.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Dow Funeral Home at Hawarden. The Rev. Robert D. Hansen officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery. There was a prayer service at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Dietz was born May 20, 1905, in Rock Falls, Illinois.

He was a heavy equipment operator for 40 years with Van Buskirk Construction Co. and had been employed by Ericson Oil Co. the last few years.

Survivors include two sons, Richard of Moville and Ronald of Hopatcong, N. J.; three grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence of Rock Falls and Russell of Spartenburg, S.C.; and two sisters, Netta Nelson of Canby, Minn. and Lucy Johnson of Porter, Minn.
