Mrs. Jane De Zeeuw, 23, of Pella, formerly of Hull, passed away, May 6 at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Sioux City after a long illness.

Jane Ann was born Nov. 18, 1963 at Orange City, the daughter of Claude A. Vander Zwaag and Betty Lou Aalberts Vander Zwaag. She graduated from Boyden-Hull Community High School in 1982. After attending Northwestern College in Orange City, she became employed by K-Products, also in Orange City. On June 28, 1985 she married Steven J. De Zeeuw at Hull. They moved to Pella in 1986.

Jane was a member of the First Reformed Church in Hull and was in the process of transferring to the Second Reformed Church in Pella.

Survivors include her husband Steve of Pella; her parents, Claude and Betty Vander Zwaag of Hull; grandparents, Mrs. William (Henrietta) Vander Zwaag of Hull and Garrett Aalberts of Orange City; and three sisters, Mrs. Neil (Susan) Krogman of Redwood Falls, Minn., and Nancy and Mary Vander Zwaag both of Hull.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 8 at the First Reformed Church in Hull. The Rev. Gerald Vander Velde, the Rev. Norman Schouten and Mr. James Harrison officiated. Internment followed at Hope Cemetery in Hull under direction of the Kraai-Oolman Funeral Home at Hull.
