Mrs. Hattie Top, 58, died Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Zwiers of near ashton, Iowa, following a lingering illness.

Mrs. Top, nee Hattie Wiekamp, was born at Bemis, S.D. on November 13, 1882. On November 13, 1902 at Bemis she married to Mr. Top, and to this union two children were born. Mr. Top died on June 17, 1932.

Those who survive her are her daughters Minnie (Mrs. Henry Zwiers) of Ashton, Ia., and Hermina (Mrs. Gerrit Harskamp) of Sioux Center. She also leaves 4 grandchildren, 1 sister, Mrs. Henry Te Krony of Clear Lake, S.D., and two brothers Mr. Wm. Wiekamp and Mr. Gerrit Wiekamp both of Bemis South Dakota.

The past 1 months she made her home with her daughter, prior to that she had lived in Sioux Center.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 18th at 11:30am from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Zwiers where the Rev. Mr. Byema officiated, and at 1:30pm from the First Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center, the Rev. Mr. Arnoys officiated. Burial was in the Sioux Center cemetery.
