Funeral services for Miss Betty Jean Solsma, 21, who was killed Friday night in a traffic accident near Hospers were held at 1:30pm Tuesday, October 22, at the First Reformed Church of Hospers.

Rev. E. Van Engelenhoeven of Northwestern college at Orange City, officiated. Burial was in West cemetery under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Miss Solsma was born June 25, 1942, at Hospers. She was a senior at Northwestern College.

Survivors include the parents, Mr. & Mrs. John Solsma of Hospers; three brothers, Richard of Artesia, Calif., John and Virgil both at home; a sister, Miss Joyce Solsma of Bellflower, Calif., and grandfather, Jake Solsma of Sheldon.
