Mr. Leendert Van Tol passed away Wednesday morning at the age of 80 years, 6 months, 22 days.

He was born in the Netherlands and later came to America. On February 9, 1900 he was united in marriage to Miss Gertie Van Roekel who now survives. To this union 10 children were born and the following now survive: Mrs. Della Lems, Gertie, Mrs. Albert Van Bemmel; Henry, Cornie, all of Doon; Mynard, Sanborn; William, Luverne, Minn.; Helen, Mrs. Harry Faber, Sheldon; Katherine, Mrs. Neal Groendyke, Sanborn; and Grace, Mrs. Ike Steensma, Bigelow, Minn. One son preceded him in death in infancy. Further survivors are 28 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Two sisters and one brother also preceded him in death.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.
