Sioux Center News March 20, 1958

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 12, at 12:00pm at the Melvin Reformed church and at 2:00pm a the American Reformed church of Hull for Mrs. Leonard L. Topp, 28, who passed away unexpectedly at her home near Melvin Friday, after suffering a heart attack.

A brief service for the family was held at the family home at 11:15pm immediately preceding the church services. Rev. John Smith officiated, assisted by Rev. Wayne Lemmen of Hingham, Wisc. Interment was made in Hope cemetery at Hull, under the direction of the Sanborn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Topp, nee Audrey Elvina Moss, was born August 18, 1929, to Mr. and Mrs. Neal Moss at Hull.

She was baptized by the Rev. Charles Stoppels. At an early age she made confession of her faith in her Saviour.

She attended Hull grade and high school and Northwestern Junior college at Orange City.

After graduating from college, she taught in Rock Valley Public school until her marriage to Leonard L. Topp on June 6, 1951, at Hull.

After their marriage they moved to California, where they lived until April, 1952, when they moved to a farm near Glenwood, Minn. Two years ago they moved to the farm near May City, Ia., where she lived until her death.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Beth Louise and Stephanie; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Neal Moss of Hull; one sister, Mildred (Mrs. Marinus Maasland) of McCook, Nebr.; three brothers, Clifford of Orange City, Ernest and Harold of Hull.
