Boyd Tronnes, 85, died Sunday, February 10, at the nursing home in Sioux Center.

Services are Wednesday, February 13 at 1:30 pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Sheldon with the Rev. Walter Disch officiating. Burial will be in Zoar Presbyterian Cemetery in George.

Tronnes was born June 27, 1905, at Nielsville, Minnesota. He graduated from George High School. He married Helen Klaahsen, June 30, 1925, in Canby, Minnesota.

He was a paper hanger, painter and policeman in Sheldon for many years.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Marian Brommmer of Sioux Center; one son, Dick of Davenport; a sister, Cora Graham of Burbank, California; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
