Robert Vander Bok, 70, passed away of an apparent heart attack on Tuesday, August 1, 1989 at Jenison, Mich. His funeral was held at the Matthysse Chapel at the Fountain at Jenison, Mich. on Friday, August 4th.

Robert was born on December 28, 1918 and was formerly of Rock Valley. His survivors are his wife, Katherine (Byker) Vander Bok; one son, Ron Vander Bok of Allendale, Mich. and two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Deb) Van Laar of Jenison, Mich. and Mrs. David (Diane) Potter of Grand Rapids, Mich. Eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Henry Vander Bok of Holland, Mich. and Adam and Leone Vander Bok of Rock Valley. A brother-in-law, Tom and Ann Vanden Bosch of rural Rock Valley and a sister-in-law, Coba Vander Bok of Rock Valley.
