Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Vander Boon, 60, who died Thursday at a Sioux Center hospital were held at 1:30 P. M. Monday at the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley. Rev. J. Van Zweden officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley.

Mrs. Vander Boon nee Vander Waal was born September 23, 1901, in Holland and came to Grand Rapids, Michigan when she was nine years old. She was married to John Vander Boon in 1923. The couple moved to Rock Valley in 1949. Mr. Vander Boon died in 1956.

Survivors include eight daughters, Mrs. Gerald Key and Mrs. Gerrit Rozeboom of Grand Rapids. Mrs. Henry Green and Mrs. Cornelius Boon of Rock Valley, Mrs. Adrian Van Ravenswaay of Sioux Center, Mrs. Fred Viastuin of Doon, Iowa, Mrs. Gornelia Van Veldhuisen of Hull, and Mrs. Tunis Rozeboom of Rock Rapids, Iowa; three sons, Orie, John and Abraham, all of Ada, Michigan; eight sisters, a brother and 38 grandchildren.
