Funeral services for Leo J. Dolan , 60, who died Saturday morning, were held in the Barnard Funeral Home Tuesday morning. Interment was in the Grace Hill cemetery with the Rev. Father R. Graf officiating.
Mr. Dolan died in his home, where he had been ill for some time.
Mr. Dolan was born on February 11, 1890, in Waterville, Minn., the son of Charles and Mathilde Dolan, who preceded him in death.
In 1904 his parents moved to Worthington, Minn., where his father was a leading physician for 33 years. Leo was his chauffeur for 12 years.
Mr. Dolan was also engaged in farming at Worthington and worked in the oil fields out west for a number of years.
In 1937 he married Miss Edith Deutschmann of Dundee, Minn. The couple moved to Hawarden in 1942 where he resided until his death.
Pall bearers at the funeral were Mrs. Dolan's four brothers: Ernest, Ben, Elmer and Rudy and two nephews,Charles and Otto Karl Deutschmann.
Survivors include the widow, a sister in Indiana and a son from a former marriage in California.
Relatives and friends attending the services from out of town included Mr. and Mrs. B. G. Deutschman and Mrs. Walter Ebert and son Otto Karl of Le Center, Minn,: Mrs. Mayme Arens and son, Roger, Mr. and Mrs. Greg Arens, Mrs. Adolph Brown, David Ericson and Lester Olson of Slayton, Minn., and Frank Gravon, Frank Muck, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Gordon, John Herline and Mrs. E. Holman of Worthington, Minn.
