John Brower

Funeral services for John "Jack" Brower, 82, of Las Vegas, Nevada, were held Saturday at Roste Funeral Home, Rock Rapids, with interment in Riverview Cemetery.

He died Sunday, December 27, 1992, at Sunrise Hospital, Las Vegas.

Mr. Brower was born April 1, 1910, in Rock Valley. He grew up and attended school near Rock Valley and later in Lyon County. He farmed in Iowa and then Dell Rapids, South Dakota, before moving to Riverton, Wyoming, where he worked construction. He has lived in Las Vegas for several years. He continued to work construction until retiring a few years ago.

Survivors include three brothers, Delco and Cornie, both of Rock Rapids and Richard of Carthage, Tennessee; and two sisters, Mrs. Jim (Willy) Kudrle and Mrs. Wayne (Edith) Moeller, both of Rock Rapids.
