Alton Democrat of Feb. 18, 1905

At the home of his brother in Ireton John Eilers died at the age of fifty one years last Monday morning. He had only been in Ireton about two weeks having moved there from Arkansas with this wife and a family of nine children. the funeral was held Tuesday.
