Mrs. Lane Markus died at her home in Harrison SD last week. Lane formerly lived near here. Deceased was a daughter of the LeCocq family and her father was formerly an official of Sioux County.

(Found the family on line - Lane Markus born 21 Apr 1858 Pella IA died 21 Jan 1923 at Harrison SD. Sophia W. A LeCocq was born 22 Apr 1866 Pella and died 25 Jan 1905 at Harrison SD. The LeCocq family was living in Sioux County In 1880. They had at least three children Harry, Marie, and Esther Markus. )
