Rueben J. Kragt, 41, died in a car accident, Thursday, August 31, 1961 near Hull.

He was born July 12, 1920 on a farm near Milaca, Minnesota. He married Johnanna Vanden Berg on January 18, 1945. He farmed in this vicinity and near Rock Rapids until the time of his death and was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church at Rock Valley.

Survivors are the widow, and five children, Joyce, Roger, Sharon, Lavonne and Darryl.

Funeral services were held Monday, September 4, at 1 o’clock in the Porter Funeral Home and 1:30 P. M. in the Christian Reformed Church with Rev. John Byker officiating. Burial was at the Valley View Cemetery
