The funeral services of Art Timmer who died July 4th were held in Reformed Church of Hospers today. Mr. Timmer was born in the Netherlands 27 years ago and has been in the United States for the past 10 years. He was married in February to Miss Hattie Haltrop and they have been residing for the past six months on a farm 2 1/2 miles west of Hospers. About four months ago he was taken with the sleeping sickness which was the cause of his death. Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his death, his father, mother, two brothers and two sisters all residing in Holland, also his aunt & uncle, Mr. & Mrs. W. Vander Brink of Sheldon.
