Rock Valley, Iowa - Gerrit Van Den Brink, 93, of Rock Valley, died Saturday in a hospital at Rock Valley.

Services were held Tuesday in the First Reformed Church. The Revs. Gordon Bloemendaal and Cecil Martens officiated. Burial in the Valley View Cemetery.

Mr. Van Den Brink was born Nov. 23, 1887, in The Netherlands. He came to the United States in 1910.

He married Tracy Wiarda, Feb. 7, 1917, in Rock Valley. She died June 9, 1981. He operated a feed grinder in Inwood until 1942 when they moved to Rock Valley.

Survivors include one son, Ceel of East Lansing, Mich; two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Gertie) Vander Ploeg of Paullina and Mrs. Henry (Gladys) Kroon of Eagle Grove. 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
