Freda Heynen.
Freda Heynen. 75, of Hull died Monday, December 30, at the Sioux Center Community Hospital. Services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 3, at First Christian Reformed Church in Hull with the Rev. Aldon Kuiper officiating. Burial was in Hope Cemetery.

The former Freda Engbers was born March 25, 1916. In Pella. She moved to Orange City with her family in 1928. She married James Heynen August 11, 1938. The couple lived at Orange City, Le Mars and Muskegon, Michigan. They moved to Hull In 1948. She was a seamstress and operated Heynen Drapery at Hull for more than 20 years, retiring in 1985.

She became a resident of Pleasant Acres Care Center In Hull in October 1990. She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church and also
Ladies Aid, Christian School Circle and Bereans. Survivors include her husband; a son, George of Hull; two daughters, Helen Soodsma of Doon and Edith Bonnema of Sioux Falls; a brother, Albert Engbers of Le Mars; two sisters, Christine Nibbelink of Orange City and Leona Koolstra of Jenison, Michigan; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
