Colman, SD - Funeral services for Andrew G. Vande Berg, 63, of rural Colman, SD were held Thursday, May 9 in the Skroch Funeral Chapel in Colman, the Rev. Truman Raak officiating. Burial was in Fremont Township Cemetery. Andrew died May 7 following surgery. He was born in Orange City to Henry & Cora Van Hul Vande Berg. He went to school in the Doon-Alvord area and grew up in that area. He moved to a farm near Madison, SD in 1953, with his brother. In 1958 they moved to a farm north of Colman where he made his home to the time of his death. He was a member of the Reformed Church.

Survivors include five brothers: Richard, Brookings; Willard, Colman; Stanley, Sioux Falls; David and Elmer both of Colman, one sister, Lillian, Mrs. Theran DeBoer, Doon.
