Services Held for Mrs. Gt. DeBruin.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gerrit De Bruin, 72, will be held Friday at 1.00 p.m. at Porter
Funeral Home and at 1:30 at the First Reformed Church with the Rev. Leonard Van Drunen officiating and with burial in Valley View Cemetery. Mrs. De Bruin died at Hegg Memorial Hospital early Tuesday morning following a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 25, 1894, in Wright Co, Iowa. The former Coba Kragt was married to Gerrit De Bruin on March 6, 1917, and the couple made their home here the past 50 years.

Survivors are the husband, Gerrit, 5 sons; Gerrit J. and Delmar both of Rock Valley,Peter, Toledo, Ohio, Harvey of Hospers, and Stanely of Larchwood. One daughter,Mrs. John Van Sloten, George; 24 grandchildren; 1 brother, Peter Kragt of Lyden, Wash.; and two sisters, Mrs. August Katje, Rock Valley and Mrs. Ring Bergsma of Sheldon. Bearers will be the five sons and the son-in-law.
