A friend passes away.

Cornie Kleinwolterink, 77, Sheldon, Iowa, died Dec. 11 at his home of a heart attack after a long illness. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 14 in the Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. Nicholas Vogelzang will officiate. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Andringa Funeral Home.

A retired farmer, he was born Jan. 11, at Hospers. He married Lizzie Nieuwendorp Feb. 25, 1920. He was a veteran of World War I and had served in the Army in France. He was a member of the Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include the widow, sons, Willis, of Sanborn; daughters, Mrs. Hessel (Arlene) Dykstra of Sanborn, Mrs. Harold (Delores) Dykstra of Canton, S.D., 16 grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Gerrit (Dona) Roetman of Boyden; brothers, Ben, Henry, Sam and Bill, all of Sheldon.
