MRS. JOHN RENSINK.

Mrs. John Rensink, nee Ella Landhuis, was born February 27, 1866, in Holland. She came to America in 1881 with her father and brothers. They settled on a farm two miles west of Hospers. She was united in marriage with John Rensink, March 12, 1891.

To this union six children were born, Henry, Bernard, who died in 1919, at the age of 26 years, Harry, Leonard, Henrietta, all married and living in and near Boyden, and John Jr. at home. Mrs. Rensink passed away last Friday morning, having reached the age of 67 years, 2 months and 29 days.

Funeral services were held at the home and at the First Reformed church at Boyden on Friday afternoon. The services were in charge of the pastor, Rev. J. W. Brink, whose sermon and gracious words of encouragement were deeply appreciated by all those present. Mrs. Rensink was a gentle Christian, mother who has raised a fine family. Although she suffered much in the declining years of her life she maintained a cheerful mein(*?) and unswerving faith, in her Savior. The entire community is deeply grieved by her passing and offers sincerest condolences in her husband, children and relatives.
