GERMINA VERMEER.
Germina Vermeer, 84, of Rock Valley died Sunday in a hospital in Rock Valley. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Faith Reformed Church in Rock Valley. The Rev. Gordon Bloemendaal officiated. Burial was in Valley View Cemetary.

Mrs. Vermeer, the formers Germina Scholten, was born March 9, 1901, in Hull. She married Gerrit Schepel in 1926 at Sioux Center. He died in June 1935. She married Cornelius Vermeer March 11, 1937 in Sioux Falls, S.D. They farmed near Inwood until moving to Rock Valley in 1944. He died May 9, 1979. She moved to Valley Manor nursing home in November 1981. Mrs. Vermeer was a member of First Reformed Church and the Women's Guild.

Survivors include three sons, Alfred J. Schepel of Rock Valley, Cornelius Vermeer Jr. of Denver and Everet Vermeer of Rock Valley; three daughters, Mrs. Arden (Elaine) Jerve of Milan, Minn., Mrs. Bill (Malena) Miller of Rock Valley and Mrs. Allen (Beatrice) Vande Stouwe of Hull; a brother, Albert of Rock Valley; two
sisters, Mrs. Sade Kempers of Sioux Center and Mrs. Carol Groeneweg of Rock Valley; 20 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
