Funeral services were held Saturday, May 27, at the First Reformed church of Hospers for Mrs. Mabel Van Dyke, nee Roetman, who passed away at the Orange City Municipal Hospital on May 24.

Mrs. Van Dyke was born October 10, 1896 at Hospers. On February 9, 1916, she was united in marriage to Albert Van Dyke at Hospers. To this union were born six children. Mr. Van Dyke died April 26, 1965.

Survivors include the children: Agatha (Mrs. Otto Vander Pol) of Sheldon, Marie (Mrs. Wm. Lucas) of Hospers, Raymond of Hospers, Burdella (Mrs. Dean De Vries) of Orange, Calif., Velma (Mrs. Leroy Van Meeteran) of Sheldon and Arlyce (Mrs. Maynard Schutt) of Sheldon. There are 17 grandchildren.
