Funeral services for Albert Van Dyke, 75, longtime Hospers resident who died Monday at Sheldon Community Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the First Reformed Church in Sheldon. The Rev. M. Tysen will officiate. Burial will be in the Hull Cemetery at Hull under the direction of Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.

Mr. Van Dyke was born May 19, 1890, in The Netherlands. He came to America at the age of 9 with his parents. He married Mabel Roetman February 9, 1916, at Hospers where the couple resided for most of his life.

Survivors include the widow; five daughters, Mrs. Otto Vander Pol of Sheldon, Mrs. William Lucas of Hospers, Mrs. Dean DeVris of Orange, Calif., Mrs. Leroy Van Meeteren of Boyden, Ia., and Mrs. Maynard Schutt of Sheldon; a son, Raymond of Hospers and 17 grandchildren.
