Wilma Margaret Brink, 92, of Corsica died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009, at Parkston.

Her funeral was Monday at Grace Reformed Church in Corsica. Burial followed in Harrison City Cemetery. Arrangements were with Koehn Bros. Funeral Home.

Wilma Margaret Kleyne was born May 21, 1917, to Hubert and Lena (Verrips) Kleyne near Boyden, Iowa. She attended country school there. She married Abe Brink June 2, 1936, at Boyden. A drought in 1937 caused them to quit farming and move to California.

In 1938 they returned to Harrison and farmed for several years. They moved to the family farm in Iowa where they farmed until 1952 when they bought a farm near Corsica. They retired in 1973, moved to town and spent several winters in Texas. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards, camping and music. She was a member of Grace Reformed Church.

She is survived by six children, Donna (Don) Oliver of Philip, Larry (Mary) of Huron, Darrell (Ann) of Sioux Falls, Sharon (Virgil) Menning of Britton, Merle (Connie) of Bismark, N.D., and Jan (Kevin) VanGenderen of Corsica; 19 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Margaret, Esther and Leona VerMeer.
