Ben Nibbelink Dies Suddenly.

The passing of Ben Nibbelink, 65, prominent farmer, early Wednesday morning came as a shock to the community. Mr. Nibbelink took ill with a cerearal hemorrhage at 12:30 a.m., and died before 3 a.m.

The decedent was born in Gelderland, the Netherlands, on July 23, 1880, and came to America with his parents at the age of 19. Arriving in Sioux County, the family settled on a farm near Orange City.

Mr. Nibbelink was married on May 25, 1921 to Miss Tillie Hoekstra of Orange City. After living in Orange City for about two years, they moved to a farm north of Orange City, where they have continued until the present time. A member of the First Chrisian Reformed Church, Mr. Nibbelink served as deacon for some years.

Surviving are his wife and two daughters, the Misses Cheresia and Wilhelmina at home, one brother, Herman Nibbelink of Orange City, and one sister, Mrs. Hendrika Geurink of Orange City. A brother, Willem Nibbelink, preceded him death about 25 years ago. Another brother, Gerrit, died in childhood.

Funeral services Saturday at 1 p.m. will be held at the home and at 2 p.m. in the First Christian Reformed Church with Dr. R. Bronkema officiating. Interment will be made in the local cemetery.
