MRS. NICK HUISMAN

Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed Church In Orange City at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, December 26, for Mrs. Nick Huisman, 78, of Orange City, who died December 23 at the Orange City Hospital. Services were conducted by the Rev. John Hellinga and burial was in West Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Huisman, the former Minnie Huitink, was born May 8, 1895, in Sioux City. She was married February 15,1917, In Sioux Center. The couple farmed in Orange City area until 1949 when they moved to Orange City. Mr. Huisman died June 25, 1965.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Hilda) Vande Meide, Mrs. Joe R. (Dorella) Kleinhesselink and Mrs. John (Marie) Bergsma, all of Orange City; two sons, Henry W. of Orange City and Alvin of Holland, Mich.; 18 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and three brothers, Gerrit and William both of Orange City and Henry of Sioux Center.
