Aged Man Found Dead Sun. Morning.

Mr. Dick Wester was found dead in bed at the Ed Shurman home at Hawarden on Sunday morning, Jan. 15. Wester was 86 years old and would have been 87 on the 24th of March and had been cared for in the Schurman home for the past half year.

Born in Holland he came to America as a young lad and made his home in the Pipestone vicinity for the past twenty years. A year ago in March he came to Hawarden and spent a few months in the nursing home, and then went to the Schurman home.

He had never married and was the last member of the family. The only survivors are nieces and
nehews among whom are Mrs. John Oliver and Mrs. Neal Van Muyden of Sioux Center.
