After a few weeks illness Mrs. N. Verdoorn passed from this earth into the eternal last week Wednesday evening. The funeral was held Friday from the Dutch Reformed church.

Mrs. Hendrik Verdoon nee' Emke Roubos.
She was born 10 Oct 1843 in Dussen North Branbant, Netherlands, she
died Sept 28, 1904 Middleburg IA, she married 1864 in the Netherlands
to Hendrik Verdoorn. She was the mother of at least 12 or more
children.
