Charles Elliot an old settler of Sioux County who has been living for the past few years with his son at Boyd Minnesota died there on Saturday and the remains were shipped to Hull arriving Sunday morning and the funeral was held Sunday afternoon and owing to the absence of Rev. Aldrich the services were conducted by Rev. Nash. The remains were laid to rest in the Hull cemetery beside his wife who preceded him to the better home a few years ago.
Three sons Ephriam, Tom and Nelson and many old family friends paid the last said rites to their loved one.

Mr. Elliot formerly lived and owned a farm about three miles southeast of Hull having come here in the early days of the settlement of the country.
