On last Monday afternoon as the golden sun was nearing the western horizon the little soul of Kathryn Miller passed away after a short illness with pneumonia and middle ear trouble. Little Kathryn was a bright little lass four years of age but never full recovered from the effects of measles a year ago and since then has been suffering with ear trouble. The funeral was held from St Mary’s church Thursday morning at nine o’clock. Four little girls Hilda Pins, Rose Thelen, Anna Mueller and Mary Kashmitter carried the remains to their last resting place in St. Mary’s cemetery. The community sympathizes with the bereaved parents in their hour of trial.
(There is possibility she was the daughter of Chris Miller 1872-1920 and wife Anne Baune 1875-1930. Deathe record states she was botn Feb 1901 and died Sep 26, 1904 )
