Fred Heitretter (Heitritter) aged sixteen formerly of Matlock late of Bigelow MN was accidentally shot and killed while out hunting Sunday by his companion Miller. They were in a boat and were lying flat in the bottom waiting for the ducks to come within close range. Miller had his gun aimed and just as he pulled the trigger Heitretter raised up and the charge caught him full in the top of the head blowing his brains out. The remains were shipped to Sheldon Monday for burial.
