Grandma Watson died at her home in Hull in her seventy-fourth year. Mrs. Watson was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Sac county Iowa after her marriage to Christopher Watson. About nineteen years ago the family moved to Hull—then called Pattersonville—and have been residents of this county since that time.

They had two sous James and John but one was called away. The remaining son is married and lives in Minnnesota. The grandson James Watson is also married and lives at lnwood. They and their wives were all present during the sickness and death of the beloved mother and grandmother. Mrs. James Watson's parents also attended the funeral which was held from the Methodist church of which Mrs. Watson was a faithful and devoted member—on Sunday afternoon.

All who knew the dear old lady loved and respected and much sympathy is felt for her aged husband who will have to go down the remaining steps of his life not cheered by her loving presence but looking forward to a glad reunion in a better land.
