Henry Vander Schaaf, 80, of Orlando, Florida, died Wednesday, April 18, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Neva Jane and Gerald Grevengoed, in Paw Paw, Illinois.

Memorial services were at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 21, at Paw Paw Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Walter Baker officiated. Burial was in Wyoming Cemetery in Paw Paw.

Vander Schaaf was born in Sioux Center on July 28, 1909, to Isaac and Jennie (Groenvelt) Vander Schaaf.

He married Ardine Schoep on August 5, 1932, in Sioux Center.

He is survived by his wife; one son, Kenneth of Bunnell, Florida; one daughter, Mrs. Neva Jane (Gerald) Grevengoed of Paw Paw; two sisters, Nettie Vander Schaaf of Sioux Center and Joan Brenneman of Sioux Center; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and one grandchild.
