Irvin J. Suhreptz
December 12, 1905—March 14, 1994

Irvin John Suhreptz, 88, of Rock Valley and formerly of rural Inwood, died Monday, March 14, at Valley Manor in Rock Valley. Services were Thursday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Alvord, the Rev. Donald R. Smith officiating. Burial was at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in
Alvord.

Suhreptz was born on December 12, 1905, in rural Rock Valley, the son of John and Cecelia (Crowley) Suhreptz. He married Mary Lucille Oliver on February 20, 1935, in Worthing, South Dakota. The couple farmed east of Inwood. He moved to Valley Manor on December 19, 1991.

Survivors include his wife; a son and his wife, John and Nancy Suhreptz of Sioux Falls; two daughters and their husbands, Mary Ellen and Vincent Leners of Emmetsburg and Lois and Ken De Baere of Shenandoah; two sisters, Mildred and her husband, George Schreurs, of Larchwood and Adalyne Vint of National City, California; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Clarence.
