C. (Cornelius ) J. Schaap Passed Away Tues. Afternoon

Mr. C. J. Schaap, eighty seven years old of Hull passed away at his home here on Tuesday afternoon April 23, 1946

Mr. Schaap had been very active and was able to be around all of the time until about a week ago when he caught a slight cold. He was even then not confined to his bed until last Friday when his lung became congested.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the home and 1:30 at the Chr. Ref. chuch.

Mr. Schaap, who would have been 88 years old in August is survived by one son John, of Sioux Falls,And three daughters, Kate Mrs. Walter Van Dyk of Mc Allen TX; Annie Mrs. Niessink of Sioux Center, and Cora Mrs. De Kruif of Sheldon. Also numerous grand and great grandchildren.
