Lowell W. Larson, 66, of Hawarden, died Jan. 3 at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Services were at 1:30 p.m., Jan. 6 in the United Methodist Church. The Rev. Herbert Gould officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery with the Dow Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Larson was born Sept. 20, 1909 in Kiron. He married Ethel Disbrow, April 7, 1938 in Sioux City. Mr. Larson operated a service station in Hawarden from 1936 to 1963. He also worked on construction until retiring in 1968. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Eagles ? in Hawarden.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Robert of Altoona; a daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Janet) Houlton of Earlville; two granddaughters; a brother, Orin of Alcester, SD, and two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Eunice) Rossbach of Tecumseh, Mich., and Mrs. Severt (Gladys) Kramme of Port Richie, Fla.
