Sioux County Capital, Orange City, September 7, 1984

Faye De Boer, 43, of Lynden, Wash., passed away at home Thursday, Sept. 6, following an extended illness. She was a lifetime resident of the Lynden community and a member of New Life Fellowship Church.

She is survived by her husband, Maurice of Lynden; four sons, Dean and his wife Luanne of Bellingham; Darin, Bryan and Theron all of Lynden; her parents, Ernest & Margaret Rutgers of Lynden; one brother, Dick Rutgers of Lynden; one sister, Karen and her husband Bill Reinsma of Lynden; her grandparents, Dick & Ruby Rutgers of Lynden; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Sept. 11 at Greenacres Memorial Park, with memorial services following at New Life Fellowship.

De Boer's mother is the former Margaret Bloemendaal, a former Orange City resident.
