Wednesday Mrs. H. D. Fitch passed away after a brief illness. Deceased was an old settler here and had lived on the homestead until the last few years and since then has lived in town. She was highly respected by all who knew her and besides her husband and children a large number of friends mourn her loss.

Mrs. H. D. Fitch’s funeral was largely attended by relatives and friends from abroad last Friday. Flowers were in great profusion and were very beautiful, her neighbors and friends feel they have met with a heavy loss.
