Mr. Frank Bomgaars passed away at about three o'clock Monday afternoon, Sept. 29, 1947 at the Hull hospital. He had been ailing for the past three years due to a stomach disorder and became critically ill on Saturday. On Sunday morning he was taken to the Hull hospital.

Mr. Bomgaars was born May 28, 1891 on a farm near Orange City. On January 13, 1915 he was united in marriage to Miss Johanna Vander Wilt. They made their home on a farm all of their married years with the exception of two years, one of which was spent in Hull and one in Sioux Center.

Left to mourn his departure are his widow and three daughters, Sernelia, Mrs. Elmer Vander Zwaag; Sophie, Mrs. Clifford Top, and Arlene, Mrs. James Cleveringa all of the Middleburg vicinity. Other survivors include his aged mother, Mrs. C. Bomgaars who is 85 years old, three grandchildren, three brothers, Marinus of Hull; John of Middleburg, and Nick of Orange City and one sister, Mrs. Peter Verrips of Sioux Center.

He was preceded in death by his father who passed away in Feb. 1910, and by a daughter, Sernelia who passed away at the age of two and a half years.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday afternoon at one o'clock at the home and at one-thirty at the Reformed Church at Middleburg.

Burial will take place at the Middleburg cemetery and acting as pall bearers will be Martin P. De Jager; Lou DeBoer; Herman Vant Hul; Loyd Popma; Gerrit Te Slaa and John Dykstra.
