Reinard Dykstra, 62, of Sioux Center died Saturday in a hospital in Sioux Center after a lengthy illness. Services were held Wednesday in the First Reformed Church. The Rev. John Ornee officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation was Tuesday in the Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Dykstra was born Sep. 20, 1920. At Harrison, SD. He moved with his parents to Orange City where he attended the Christian School and Northwestern Academy. He married Dorothy Mae DeZeeuw Feb. 16, 1949, at Sioux Center. They made their home in Sioux Center. He was a member of the First Reformed Church.

Survivors include his wife, three sons Bruce of Dickens, Roger of Jewel and Gary of Sioux Center, two daughters, Mrs. David (Muriel) Loveall of Hagaman, NY. And Laura of Sioux Center, five brothers, Dr. D. Ivan of Holland Mich., the Rev. Tony of Penn Yan, NY., the Rev. Wesley of Alma Mich., Dr. Virgil of Reston, VA., and Dr. E. David of Longboat Key, FL. Two sisters Mrs. Marion (Betty) Schippers of Pella and Mrs. Ava, Berkebile of Los Angles, Calif. And three grandchildren
