Mr. Sjoerd John Goslinga died Friday, April 17, at 7:50 p.m. after a long illness and complications developing from osteomyelitis. Funeral services were held Monday, April, 20 in the home at 1 p.m. and in the First Christian Reformed church at 1:30. Rev. Mr. R. Bronkema officiated.

Mr. Gosling was born in Friesland, The Netherlands, Feb. 22, 1874. He came to America 50 years ago and lived most of his life in Sioux County. He was active in the organization of the Friesian in this territory and took interest in farm organization.

Survivors are his widow Clara nee Dykstra and the following children; John of Sheldon, Jessie (Mrs. George Eason) and Pieter of Orange City., Susan (Mrs. Harry Bussamus) of Grandville; Theodore of Sheldon. Two children died in infancy. Mr. Goslinga had 1 grandchild
