Jerry H. Dykstra, 79, of Sioux Center died Saturday, January 19, at Sioux Center. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday the Central Reformed Church in Sioux Center. Dr. Thurman Rynbrandt and the Rev. John Hoekstra officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center.

Mr. Dykstra was born Feb. 9, 1900 in rural Sioux Center. He married the former Kathryn Vander Wilt Dec. 12, 1927 at Sioux Center. He was a retired policeman in Sioux Center.

Survivors include his widow; one son, Virgil of Des Moines; two daughters Mrs. Rev. James (Elaine Boogard of Lakewood, Calif. And Mrs. Loean (Delorse) Keller of St. Paul, Minn; six grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry of Le Mars, Iowa and Hessel of Sanborn, Iowa, three sisters Mrs. Clara Stientjes of Des Moines, Mrs. Susan Dean of Bellflower, Calif., Mrs. Ralph (Gertrude) Hulst of Hospers, Iowa
