Herman Dykstra, 65, of Rock Valley died suddenly on Monday of this week while visiting the home of his son in Denver. Funeral services were at 1:30, Thursday in the First Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley. The Rev. Roger Bultman officiating. Burial was in the Valley View Cemetery. Visitation was from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the Porter Funeral Home. Mr.

Dykstra was born Sep. 1, 1918 at rural Boyden . He married Apr 23, 1941 in Perkins Jennie Evers. He was in the egg business for many years and in later years as a buyer of hogs and cattle.

Survivors include his wife; one daughter Mrs. Kenneth (Carol) Danneberg of Denver; his mother, Mrs. Henrietta (Vis) Dykstra ; four brothers Peter, Dick and Art, all of Hull and Harry of Canton SD.; Three sisters Mrs. Gertrude Brummel of Rock Valley, Mrs. Martin (Stella)Hoekstra of Sheldon. Mrs. Charles (Jennette) Stienstra of Hull and three grandchildren
