Funeral services were held at the First Reformed church at Hull at 1:30 p.m. November 29 for Jerry J. Dykstra, 75 of Hull who died November 25 at the Rock Rapids Hospital. Services were conducted by the Rev, David Ter Beest and burial was made at Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Dykstra was born May 27, 1868. He married Cynthia Meerdink Feb. 12, 1920 in Hull. He farmed that vicinity until his retirement.

Survivors include the widow; three sons Donald and Leroy both of Hull; Joel of George; two daughters, Mrs. Cornie (Elizabeth) De Vos of Hull , Mrs. Clarence (Marlene) Van’t Hul of Inwood; 30 grandchildren; a brother Jake of Orange City
