Relatives received word Friday that Mrs. Joe Dykstra of Middleburg had passed away. Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 12, 1949 from the home and the Reformed Church in Middleburg. She attended the funeral services of her husband who died Sep. 20, 1949 and since that time has been sick. Mrs. Jerry Joe Dykstra of Hull has been at her bedside with the help of others the past eight weeks

Mrs. Joe Dykstra who formely was Elizabeth Vander Hoef had attained the age of 75 years.
Surviving member are two sons Jerry of Hull and Jake of Middleburg; 8 grandchildren 2 great-grandchildren and a sister Mrs. John Mouw of Orange City.
