William Van Kekerix
October 3O, 1918—March 17. 1994

William "Bill" Van Kekerix, 75. Of Rock Valley,died Thursday, March 17, at the Rock Valley hospital. Services were at Calvin Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley on Monday, with the Rev. Roger Sparks officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery.

Van Kekertx was born on October 30, 1918, the son of Sam Martha (Koedam) Van Kekerix
He married Tena Van Holland on December 19, 1945, at Hull. They farmed in the Rock Valley
area until retiring to Rock Valley in 1981. They moved to Valley Manor in October 1993.

He was active in Calvin Christian Reformed Church, having been an elder, a Sunday-school teacher and a member of the Men's Society. He was a member of the Rock Valley Senior Citizens' Club and a past member of the Rock Valley Christian School Board.

Survivors Include his wife, two sons and their wives, Sherwin and Lori Van Kekerix of Rock Valley and Eugene and Marge Van Kekerix of Sioux Falls; a daughter and her husband, Barb and Sherwin Van Otterloo of Rock Valley, two sisters, Jeanette Eppinga and Alydia Post, both of Rock Valley; and eight grandchildren.

Preceded In death by his daughter, Marlys, his parents, and brother, Jim Van Kekerix.
