PETER VAN KALSBEEK
Peter Van Kalsbeek, 82, of Hospers, died Sunday, September 15, in a, hospital in Orange City.
Services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 18, in the Christian Reformed Church in Hospers. The Rev. J. Mark Beach officiated. Burial was in the Hospers Cemetery under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Hospers. Family visitation was Tuesday in the Fellowship Half of the church.

Mr. Van Kalsbeek was born January 25, 1903, in Hospers. He married Gertrude Kooiker January 1, 1937, in Hull. They farmed near Hospers until 1966 when they retired and moved to town. She died July 16,1980. Mr. Van Kalsbeek was a member of the Christian Reformed Church where he served as an elder and deacon.

Survivors include four sons, Ronald of Hospers, Willis of Sheldon and John and Gary, both of Orange City; a brother, Clarence of Hospers; 11 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild
