ANDREW VAN KEKERIX
Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 10, at 12:30 p.m. at the home and at 2:00 p.m. from the Netherlands Reformed church for Andrew Van Kekerix, 54, who died at the Sioux Center Community hospital following a lingering illness. Rev. W. C. Lamain officiated, Burial was in the Valley View cemetery at Rock, Valley under the direction of the Co-operative Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mr. Van Kekerix was a son of Henry Van Kekerix and Adriana Groeneweg and was born at Volga SD on Dec 3, 1904. Most of his life was spent near Rock Valley. He was a farmer and member of the Netherlands Reformed church.

On February 23, 1928 he married Jennie Lems of Hull and to this union four children were born.

Survivors are the widow, four children, Bert and James of Rock Valley, Adrianna (Mrs. Wm. Klarenbeek of Fairview SD) and Gracie at home, Two brothers, Paul of Bellflower CA and Sam of Rock Valley, and six grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death.
