Mrs. John Van Hill died at her home in O.C., Sunday evening at 6:45 o'clock from a heart attack. Mrs. Van Hill nee Alice Van't Holl was born in the Netherlands and came to America when she was 6 years old. She was married in 1906 and lived in parts of Minnesota and in this vicinity.

Mr. and Mrs. Van Hill were the parents of 6 children, 5 of whom survive: Winnie - Mrs. El Hoogland of Annadale, Minn.; Richard, Albert, Dick and Wihmina, all of O.C. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren and 1 great grand child; 1 brother, John Van't Holl of Alton and 2 sisters: Mrs. Bert Mellema of Worthingiton,, Minn., and Mrs. Henry Vander Berg of Alvord, la.

Preceding in death are her husband in Aug. 12, 1948 also her daughter, Mrs. Gt. Schoonhoven who died in Sept. 1952. A sister, Mrs. Gt. Vander Kieft died several years ago.
